2024 China International Consumer Electronics Expo Showcases VR Innovations

On the morning of October 18, 2024, the China International Consumer Electronics Expo (hereinafter referred to as the Electronics Expo) opened at the Qingdao International Convention Center (Hongdao Pavilion). Themed ‘Green Navigation, Digital Future,’ over 300 domestic and international consumer electronics companies showcased new technologies, products, and trends in the consumer electronics field across an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters.


As a representative of VR companies, DPVR participated in the exhibition with a focus on B2B and C2C business, featuring PCVR and all-in-one products. Along with five partners, including Shanghai Shi Zhong Information Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Morning Star Hengxiang Technology Co., Ltd., Tianjin Zhongke Zhengpeng Information Technology Co., Ltd., Shenzhen Lingdian Technology Co., Ltd., and Xi’an Feidie Technology Co.


, Ltd., DPVR demonstrated industry solutions based on PCVR and all-in-one hardware products, covering industries such as K12 education, fire training, industrial manufacturing training, and medical training.


With high-performance VR products as a support, DPVR has created diversified service solutions. In the field of automotive repair, DPVR, in collaboration with Tianjin Morning Star Hengxiang Technology Co., Ltd., built a service solution centered around the DPVR E4 Enterprise Edition, which simulates car engine disassembly, maintenance, and fault diagnosis. This solution was exhibited on-site, allowing trainees to use controllers to disassemble and assemble engine parts, helping students to understand car maintenance knowledge more efficiently and effectively improving training efficiency.


In the medical field, DPVR’s collaboration with Shanghai Shi Zhong Information Technology Co., Ltd. on a ‘Surgical Operation’ VR teaching solution is one of DPVR’s key projects in medical training. This attracted much attention when showcased. With the support of this product, clinical medicine virtual training becomes more accessible, enjoyable, safe, repeatable, immersive, and assessable. At the event, many visitors experienced the ‘Hip Replacement VR Simulation Learning System,’ simulating the assembly of surgical tools, learning of procedural processes, and the passing of surgical instruments, emulating real surgical procedures.


Beyond this solution, DPVR has made numerous innovative attempts and explorations in the medical field. For instance, recently, DPVR’s product DPVR P1 PRO-4K (ULTRA) was applied in ‘Nasal Endoscopy’ examinations, significantly improving examination efficiency and reducing patient discomfort. It has been implemented in a hospital in Zhejiang, marking the first application of VR technology in a new nasal endoscopy examination scheme in China. The DPVR P1 PRO-4K (ULTRA), as a star product among DPVR’s all-in-one devices, is widely favored by customers in the education industry due to its performance advantages and cost-effectiveness.


At this exhibition, Dapeng VR also showcased a service solution named ‘Xiao Mengshou MR Fire Extinguishing Simulation Experience System (hereinafter referred to as MR Xiao Mengshou)’, which was co-developed with Tianjin Zhongke Zhengpeng Information Technology Co., Ltd., and became one of the highlights of the event. Prior to its release, this solution had already secured a ‘Utility Model Patent Certificate’, which is an independent type of patent protection typically granted to patents with strong practicality and significant value, indicating its high worth.


By wearing VR equipment, participants can use a simulated fire extinguisher to complete the entire process from discovering a fire to extinguishing it in a realistic environment. After using it, participants on-site reported an increased understanding of fire dangers and improved handling capabilities.



Similarly, the DPVR P1 PRO-4K (ULTRA) was used in the K12 education and training program co-created by Dapeng VR, Feidie Technology, and Lingdian Technology. This program includes over ten training courses such as safety education, VR science classes, and high school physics, with rigorous and detailed content. Combined with 3D graphics and interactive fun in virtual space, it can better stimulate children’s interest in learning. On-site, many parents also experienced it and expressed their approval.


High-definition, stable PCVR brings a new VR entertainment experience. On the day of the exhibition, the DPVR E4 Performance Edition became a veritable ‘hot item’, with long lines of people waiting to experience the joy of VR gaming. The projects that could be experienced included high-quality VR games on the Steam platform such as ‘Beat Saber’ and ‘Half-Life: Alyx’, with the product already compatible with over 7000+ VR games on Steam.


For many first-time users, the immersive experience akin to reality was definitely a pleasant surprise, and for some VR enthusiasts, the performance of the DPVR E4 Performance Edition was also satisfactory. As the flagship product of Dapeng VR, the DPVR E4 Performance Edition has been comprehensively upgraded in terms of picture quality, refresh rate, cooling, sound quality, and connection cables.


The combination of 4K high-definition picture quality and a 120Hz refresh rate provides an immersive virtual interaction experience for users.
